Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi
Pick up at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in. Then, visit the old quarter streets and Hoan Kiem Lake by cyclo to discover the local people life, see the peaceful water, and visit Ngoc Son Temple. Evening: Water puppets show, the unique Vietnam traditional art. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Hanoi (B)
Driving to visit West Lake, visit Tran Quoc pagoda. Continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam - Vietnam's first University constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past.. Proceed to visit Museum of Ethnology - the most interesting museum in Hanoi with many different things relating the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Thac Ba Lake ( B,L,D)
Direction to Son Tay. Quite a long drive but easy from Hanoi to Thac Ba lake where we will spend the night with our friends. The road is sealed and quiet mostly when we are in the countryside. We arrive in the Dzao Quan Trang village - exceptional welcome. Dinner and spend the night with a local Dzao family in a traditional house built on stilts.
Day 4: Thac Ba - Luc Yen (B,L,D)
Morning, small cruise to visit Thac Ba and discover the local people life Dzao, Cao Lan. Route to
Luc Yen, a small beautiful town surrounded by limestone karsts and is famous for red rock and ruby. Overnight in a beautiful stilt-house of Tay ethnic in the village.
Day 5: Luc Yen - Babe Lake ( B,L,D)
We spend all day to explore Babe lake. Easy boating on the lake and river, stop at waterfall, beautiful swim?. Down the waterfall, we could visit the village, walk on forest, visit the market local . Diner and homestay with our Tay friends.
Day 6: Ba Be visite ( B,L,D)
We follow the small road belong the beautiful lake then ride up to Cao Bang province. Few passes from where you can dominate the area. The road is easy but many curves, we reach the beautiful village of Quang Uyen, in the middle of limestone mountains - territory of Nung people. Spend the night in home stay.
Day 7: Ba Be - Quang Uyen (B,L,D)
We follow the small road belong the beautiful lake then ride up to Cao Bang province. Few passes from where you can dominate the area. The road is easy but many curves, we reach the beautiful village of Quang Uyen, in the middle of limestone mountains - territory of Nung people. Spend the night in home stay.
Day 8: Quang Uyen - Ban Gioc - Quang Uyen (B,L,D)
We drive to Trung Khanh ethnic market to buy foods for the picnic lunch then continue to Ban Gioc warterfall. Having obtained permission from the border police we make our way through spectacular scenery to Vietnam's most impressive waterfalls. On the way, we visit Phia Chang village. Overnight in home stay.
Day 9: Quang Uyen - Lang Son ( B,L,D)
Route from Quang Uyen to Lang Son. we go along the road no. 4. driving to Lang Son via Dong Khe, That Khe. This whole area was a battleground together with the famous Dien Bien Phu victory, stop for photographing on your demands. Overnight in Lang Son.
Day 10: Lang Son - Halong (B,L,D)
Breakfast. Then, departure for Ha Long. On arrival in Halong, embarking on a traditional junk. If Hanoi was Thang Long, "Ascending Dragon", the Halong bay, "Descending Dragon". Day 12: Hanoi depart (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, then free time until you transfer to airport.
